The short answers. Every one links to the long version.

Who can watch?

Anyone, including without an account. Click a live show and you're watching. No signup, no download, no waiting room.

Who can be on screen?

Verified users, in a host's room, when the host approves them. You need to be 18+ and verified, because appearing on camera means being a real, accountable person. See who can do what.

How do I host?

Apply. If your program is approved, you pay the hosting fee and go live.

Why was my program not approved?

Programs are reviewed against the content standards. You'll get a reason, and you can appeal it once.

What's allowed on shows?

See the content standards. Short version: keep it family-friendly. It's an adult audience, but the tone stays clean.

How do you keep it clean?

Four things: we approve programs before they air, everyone who takes part is a verified adult, hosts get real moderation tools, and we enforce consistently with an appeals process for when we get it wrong.

Is Birby only for certain groups?

No. Everyone is welcome. We curate content, not people. Our standards are written about what is broadcast, never about who is broadcasting. More on that here.

How do I report something?

Use the Report control in any room, or see reporting. Email support@birby.liveif you're stuck.

Are shows recorded?

They can be. A host can record a show, and when they do, a REC light is on screen for everyone in the room for as long as it's running. A host can also publish a recording as a replay afterwards, which is their decision and off by default.
